Winter GUARD

 

What is Winter Guard?

Winter Guard is a visual performance ensemble that competes at competitions from January through April. This activity combines modern dance with flag, rifle, and saber choreography. Membership is open to anyone at Page High School with auditions being held in November.

The Winter Guard practices three days per week after school and competes in the Southeastern Color Guard and Winter Guard International Circuits. During a season the ensemble travels to competitions in the greater southeast region and/or to Dayton, OH for World Class Competitions. Competitions are most frequently held on Saturdays

The Fred J Page Winter Guard has established itself as one of the premier Winter Guard programs in the southeast, consistently being awarded superior ratings and contending for the state championship. The show design concepts paired with choreography from the Fred J. Page Guard staff provide unique, memorable experiences for all audience members.
